*Sigh*

Posted in Random things tagged at 4:31 PM by Margaret

Once again, I have found my brain completley void of anything to post about. I have nothing. Nada. Zero. Gosh, blogging can be so frusturating! And I WOULD have posted a recipe, but I am using the library computer and don’t have the recipe I want handy.

Feeling anything but,

Cheerio

My brilliant idea.

Posted in Cooking/Baking at 1:28 AM by Margaret

Yes, folks, it finally came to me- the brilliant idea I was waiting for. Okay, so maybe it’s not that fantastic, but at least I have something to post, right?

My idea was inspired by my theme (which right now is this bananna smoothie theme) and from my friend, Iryna. See my blogroll for her blog Address (it’s “What I Didn’t Know”). Anyways, I was talking on the phone with her and then she asked me about cupcakes, and whether they were supposed to be runny. Well, I think we all (now) know that the answer to that is no, cupcakes are NOT supposed to be watery. So, anyways, on to my idea. Much like my language challenge, I am going to try to post recipes that I have tried, whether it be cooking or baking or whatever, and then share a story about a time that I made it. What do you think?

I g2g. TTYL!

(Hey, I figured IM shortcuts were a language unto it’s own 🙂 )

Posting Posts

I have nothing to blog about. That is why I haven’t updated. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about you (I even have a sticky note on my computer to remind me), but I have searched and searched my brain for a brilliant post and came up with….NOTHING. Absolutely nothing.

To post again when I have a brilliant idea,

Au Revoir!

Themes.

Posted in Random things tagged at 12:15 AM by Margaret

I know that this is kind of random, but I just realized how many times in the past ten minutes I have changed my theme. I think it must have been between 5 and 7 times! But finally I have this amazing (at least to me) theme that totally fits the “tenor” of my blog.

Okay- I am going to stop talking now. Bye!

And now, a word about…

Posted in Writing tagged at 12:05 AM by Margaret

… my website address. You see, this blog was inspired by my desire to share a poem that I really like. It is by somebody who goes by the pen name of “Jane-Elise Stone” and is called “Choice”. I will later reveal to you who the real author is, but you have to promise to be open minded about it, ‘kay?

Anyways, Jane is thinking about submitting this poem to Stone Soup, but isn’t sure yet. She wanted to get some other people’s opinions on it. Here it is:

Choice

By Jane-Elise Stone

 A new moon.

 A new beginning.

A chance to start fresh, to right my wrongs.

A chance to learn how to love again, how to live again, how to laugh again.

A second chance at my whole life.

This was being offered to me, and I was refusing it.

I wanted my starry night back, where everything was clear.

I wanted the full moon to come back and shine brightly on everything I did.

I didn’t want this dark place, where nothing was as it seemed.

I wanted to believe the obvious, to laugh at those who feared the supernatural.

But instead, I was given this terrifying choice; to start fresh, or to die.

I wanted to refuse.

I wanted to say, “Here’s your crappy life back. Now give me mine.”

But I couldn’t.

I was paralyzed by this decision, the decision that would end my life either way.

To live in a world where everything was shrouded in black.

Where I couldn’t trust anyone.

Where I could barely believe myself.

This thought was terrifying to me.

But the thought of death, of leaving my world and never returning, was even scarier.

And so, right now, I was living in the in-between, not dying, not fully alive.

Where I would stay until I made my life-altering decision.

And I cannot help but think…

What would you choose?

Ciao for now!

I have decided to set a blogging goal for myself. Are you ready? Here it comes…

I have made the decision that any time I do a post, I am going to try and close it in a different language. For example, I could close it with “Au Revoir!” because that’s French. Or I could close it with “Cheerio!” because that’s the British closing, as far as I know.

And so, as my above title suggests, I will be closing this post with Italian terms. In other words- ciao for now!

I am a horrible blogger.

Posted in Uncategorized tagged at 2:20 AM by Margaret

I am just going to say this right now. Because it is true. Maybe it’s because I’m always so busy, maybe it’s because I have nothing to blog about. Maybe it’s because blogging just takes so much TIME. Time that I don’t have. Whatever the cause, I already have two blogs on www.blogspot.com, both of which have failed miserably. I have the feeling that I am just taking up space on the Internet. But the nice thing about this blog is that I called it “Anything, Anytime, Anywhere” for a reason. I don’t have to blog about one thing. I could put in a blog post about how I love eating cereal! That’s why I am looking forward to starting this blog. I don’t know if I will end up updating it, but it’s worth a final try, don’t you think?

And you know what they say- third time’s a charm!
